The purpose of our policy for posting ads is solely to maintain the integrity of this site as a place where everyone in our Community can use it, without concern that someone has placed an inappropriate message or ad here. This applies to the content as well as to the method of your posting

Examples of inappropriate ads are as follows:

  • Multiple Posting (spamming of ads)
  • Placing your ad in the incorrect category
  • Using a follow up posting as an opportunity to advertise
  • Anything we here at "The COM" wouldn't let our kids see! (And we're quite strict about what our kids see! :-)
The ads will be constantly monitored, and items not meeting the guidelines will be removed from this publication. Submitters of these ads will be promptly notified, and they also may be charged to resubmit ads based upon the amount of work required to remove erroneous submisions. Any and all offenders who post sexually suggestive or explicit material or who deliberately post ads in an annoying or unauthorized manner will be publicly flamed and shamed on this site and banned from any future priveledges.

Each ad will remain in the publication for a minimum of 30 days before consideration for removal. Parties desiring to withdraw their ad prior to its scheduled removal must pay $5.00 for premature deletion. If your item is sold, or your advertised service is no longer available, placing a follow up posting to that effect will significantly reduce your email responses.

Ads submitted with incorrect information can be edited by our staff for a nominal fee. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS CORRECT BEFORE SUBITTING YOUR AD. Follow up messages can also be used to clarify and update your ad.

HTML is allowed in your postings but be prepared for the possibility of an erroneous result in your ad. It is better to keep your posting simple rather than risk unpredictable results unless you are willing to pay the nominal fee of $5.00 for corrections.
